1. Math Jam - 1985

The game that laid the foundation for Naughty Dog, Math Jam was a collaboration between founders Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin. Released for the Apple II under the studio name JAM, this self-published educational game introduced players to basic arithmetic. It was during their high school years that Rubin and Gavin decided to pivot from educational to purely recreational gaming.

2. Ski Crazed - 1986

At just 16 years old, Rubin and Gavin released their second game, Ski Crazed, for the Apple II. Players navigated their avatars down ski slopes, dodging obstacles and aiming for high scores.

3. Dream Zone - 1987
