The inaugural game of the Naruto: Path of the Ninja series, Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō, was released in 2003 exclusively for the Bandai WonderSwan Color in Japan. This handheld console, launched in 1999, never made it outside of Japan, much like the game itself. The storyline revolves around the Land of Waves arc, supplemented with additional missions undertaken by Team 7.

Also exclusive to Japan, Naruto: Konoha Senki was developed by Tomy and released in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. This title covers the narrative up to the first 70 episodes of the Naruto series, including the Land of Waves and Chūnin Exams arcs. Players initially control Team 7 and Kakashi, with the option to unlock additional characters after the first playthrough.

Despite being the third game in the series, Naruto: Path of the Ninja was developed by Tomy and released in 2004. It debuted on the Nintendo DS in Japan and was later adapted for the Game Boy Advance for a worldwide audience. The game follows the early arcs of the anime, culminating in the Chūnin Exams.

Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan serves as a sequel to Naruto: Path of the Ninja, released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS and exclusive to Japan. The game's storyline encompasses the Search for Tsunade arc and concludes with the Sasuke Recovery Mission, where Sasuke leaves Konoha.

The final installment, Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, was developed by Tomy and initially released in Japan in 2006, followed by a global release in 2008 for the Nintendo DS. Unlike the previous games that adhered to the canonical storyline, this game introduces an original filler arc. The main adversaries are the Three Ryūdōin Brothers, and the game includes a unique Anbu character as the player's ally.
These five games in the *Naruto: Path of the Ninja* series offer fans a diverse range of experiences, each with its own unique charm and narrative focus. Whether you're revisiting the iconic arcs or exploring new storylines, these games are a must-play for any *Naruto* enthusiast.
