⚫︎ Larian Studios, renowned for their work on Divinity: Original Sin, unveiled their latest project, Baldur’s Gate 3, at Google’s inaugural Stadia Connect event. This new chapter continues the legacy of BioWare's iconic Baldur’s Gate series, which started with the original game in 1998 and was followed by Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn in 2000.

⚫︎ One year after its initial announcement, Baldur's Gate 3 was released into early access on Steam, GOG, and Google Stadia. This launch came after several delays, including a previously targeted release date of September 30 and an earlier mid-2020 estimate from Larian Studios.
The early access version included only the first act of the game, featuring a customizable player character and five origin characters: Astarion, Gale, Lae’zel, Shadowheart, and Wyll.
