Final Fantasy Developer Announces End of Mobile Game

Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, the global journey ends after four years.

Two Months Remain

In-app purchases and Google Play Point exchanges have already ceased. The global launch in June 2020 marked the beginning of a chapter now concluding. Despite impressive graphics, music, and a generous gacha system, the global version received mixed reception.

Unlike its popular Japanese counterpart, the global version lacked significant content updates like Solistia and 6-star units, a year-long absence that disappointed many players.

This closure follows Square Enix's shutdowns of Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest mobile titles. Romancing SaGa Re:universe, a turn-based RPG based on the classic SaGa series, offers players two more months to enjoy its gameplay. Download it from the Google Play Store to experience this final chapter.
