El servidor global de Romancing SaGa Re:universe cerrará el 2 de diciembre de 2024. Si bien la versión japonesa continúa, el viaje global termina después de four años.

Las compras dentro de la aplicación y los intercambios de Google Play Point ya han cesado. El lanzamiento global en junio de 2020 marcó el comienzo de un capítulo que ahora concluye. A pesar de los impresionantes gráficos, música y un generoso sistema gacha, la versión global recibió una recepción mixta.
