Author:Kristen Update:Jan 19,2025

Pocket Gamer recently discovered Dynabytes' Fantasma at Gamescom Latam – a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game. This intriguing title recently received a significant update, adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support. Further expansion is planned, with German, Italian, and Spanish languages slated for release in the coming months.

But what exactly is Fantasma? In this game, players hunt and battle mischievous creatures using portable electromagnetic fields as bait. Combat takes place in augmented reality, requiring players to maneuver their phones to keep the Fantasma in view while tapping the screen to attack. Defeated Fantasma are then captured in special bottles.
