Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) is set to revolutionize gameplay with a feature designed for players who may struggle with boss fights. In the latest episode of Koji Pro radio broadcasts on April 14, Hideo Kojima, the director of DS2, unveiled that players can now opt to bypass combat entirely.

If a player fails a boss fight, they can choose to press "continue" on the game over screen. This action will allow them to progress past the boss without combat, instead presenting them with images and text descriptions that unfold the battle's story in a visual novel format. This approach not only maintains the game's narrative flow but also makes it accessible to a broader audience.

Hideo Kojima shared exciting progress on DS2, stating that the game is now approximately 95% complete. He metaphorically described the development stage as being at "10 o’clock (PM)" of a 24-hour cycle, with just "2 hours left" until completion.
