When asked directly about a potential Switch 2 release, Broche remained open but cautious, stating that while nothing is confirmed, the idea "could be interesting." He explained, "We're kind of in a situation where there are a lot of opportunities showing up—way too many at once—and we're figuring out what we'll go for and what we won't."

Considering the rising anticipation for Nintendo’s next-generation handheld, a Switch 2 release could position *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33* perfectly for players who want to enjoy the Belle Époque-inspired turn-based RPG on the go. No Official Merchandise… Yet!

While Sandfall Interactive hasn’t released any official merchandise yet, they’ve made it clear: counterfeit sellers offering unofficial Esquie plushes online are not licensed by the studio.

In a social media post on May 14, the team warned fans about third-party sites selling imitation plushies, stating, "To be clear: any third-party websites selling Esquie plushies are NOT officially licensed." They also cautioned against purchasing items featuring AI-generated artwork and noted that some of these products may be scams.

However, all is not lost for hopeful collectors. The developers teased that they are actively looking into producing official Esquie plushies and wrote, "But here’s the wheee to balance out the whooo: we are looking into making official Esquie plushies, and we want to bring them to you as soon as we can. In the meantime, please be patient—and don’t get scammed!"
