We Reviewed Both AMD Graphics Cards

Our review of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 awarded it an impressive 8/10. Priced similarly to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outperforms it in most games and boasts a higher VRAM capacity of 16GB compared to the RTX 5070's 12GB, enhancing its futureproofing. Power consumption remains comparable to its Nvidia counterpart.

It delivers top-notch 1440p performance, often reaching high refresh rates even without frame generation, and it even includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. The only downside is its close performance to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT earned a perfect 10/10 from us. Despite being $150 less than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it surpasses it in several games, with some benchmarks showing a significant lead. Like the RX 9070, it comes with 16GB of VRAM. However, it does consume more power and runs hotter than the RTX 5070 Ti on average.
