Ayaneo Unveils Two Android Gaming Devices at GDC 2025

Ayaneo debuted its inaugural Android gaming devices at GDC 2025 in San Francisco, including the Ayaneo Gaming Pad. Established in 2020, the Chinese company initially rose to prominence with its Windows-based handheld gaming PCs.

Ayaneo has since broadened its portfolio with notable gaming hardware, now venturing into Android-based devices. Here’s a detailed look at the new Android gaming devices unveiled by Ayaneo.

What Are Ayaneo’s Two New Android Gaming Devices?

The lineup features the Ayaneo Gaming Pad, an Android gaming tablet, and the Ayaneo Pocket S2, a compact handheld. Both leverage Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, among the first to harness this advanced hardware, delivering significant CPU and GPU performance enhancements over its predecessor.

The tablet boasts an 8.3-inch LCD display with 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution, alongside Wi-Fi 7 for seamless online gaming.

The Ayaneo Gaming Pad features a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame. It is equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera, setting it apart as one of the few gaming tablets with premium camera capabilities.

The Pocket S2, an Android handheld, sports a 6.3-inch 1440p display, enhanced by upgraded Hall-effect joysticks, linear triggers, and dual X-axis motors for immersive haptic feedback.

The handheld integrates Ayaneo’s proprietary software, AyaSpace and AyaHome, for streamlined game management and personalization. Powered by the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, it offers improved energy efficiency, robust performance, and support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
