Author:Kristen Update:Mar 21,2025

Get ready, Tenno! Warframe's 1999-themed Techrot Encore update drops March 19th, bringing a wave of new content that's sure to electrify the battlefield. This expansion, inspired by the turn-of-the-millennium aesthetic and featuring the return of the ARG band as boss battles, is packed with exciting features.

First up, four brand-new Protoframes—Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II—join the fray, adding fresh tactical options to your arsenal. But that's not all! Meet Temple, the 60th Warframe, who arrives alongside Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sentient guitar named Lizzie. Prepare for some seriously rocking battles!

For seasoned veterans, Techrot Encore introduces two challenging endgame stages. In Stage Defense, you'll protect Scaldra during a memorial show, while Temporal Archimedea throws you into a back-to-back mission gauntlet with Minerva and Velimir II, utilizing the Peely Pix system for randomized modifiers. Expect intense strategic depth and replayability.

And in a truly heartwarming addition, Digital Extremes honors the Make-A-Wish commitment from James Conlin with the Atomicycle racing minigame, Ollie's Crash Course, located in the Höllvania Mall Hub arcade. It's a fun, engaging diversion that adds a unique charm to the update.

Beyond the core features, the anticipation for TennoCon 2025 builds, alongside the relaunch of the upgraded Warframe Companion App open beta. March is shaping up to be a huge month for Warframe fans!
