New Visual Novel Explores Humanity

Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, offers a poignant post-apocalyptic tale exclusively on Android. Following its PC release on Steam, this narrative explores themes of human sin and the arduous path to redemption.

A Journey of Atonement

The story centers on Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, two millennia removed from his last memory. He finds himself in a desolate world, guided by a mysterious girl burdened by a heavy task.

This girl is trapped in a cycle of repeated death and rebirth, endlessly atoning for humanity's transgressions. The sheer brutality of her unending penance compels Kyoya to introduce her to the concept of happiness.

The narrative unfolds at a deliberate pace, initially slow but building to a crescendo of twists and revelations. Previously insignificant details gain profound significance as the story progresses.

A Thought-Provoking Experience

Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live eschews player choices, presenting a linear, interactive story. Its simple yet appealing art style complements the narrative's blend of beauty and sorrow. The girl's fully voiced performance adds a haunting depth to the experience.

Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support. It's priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store, but Google Play Pass subscribers can access it for free.
