This latest remaster marks the fifth major iteration of the eighteen-year-old Virtua Fighter 5. While a precise release date remains unannounced, SEGA promises a winter launch.

Despite numerous previous versions, SEGA positions Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O as the definitive remaster of this 3D fighting classic. Key improvements include rollback netcode for smooth online play, stunning 4K graphics with updated high-resolution textures, and a boosted 60fps framerate for incredibly fluid gameplay.

However, the November 22nd Steam listing of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O, showcasing enhanced visuals, new modes, and rollback netcode, clarified the situation.

A Classic Fighting Game Returns
