To access the hidden Shu true ending in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, you must first complete the main Shu campaign. This unlocks replayability of past stages. Look for a gold banner next to "The Battle of Changban"—this signifies an alternate ending is available.

Normally, this stage involves escorting Liu Bei to safety. However, for the true ending, you must defeat Cao Cao instead. This is a challenging task, requiring you to single-handedly overcome a massive enemy force. Liu Bei's defeat before Cao Cao's will necessitate a mission restart.

To increase your chances of success:

• Reduce Difficulty: Switch to "Historian" mode to make the battle more manageable. The sheer number of enemies makes this a significantly easier challenge on a lower difficulty.
• Strategic Partner: Choose Zhang Fei as your partner. This grants a closer starting position to Cao Cao's forces, reducing travel time.

During the battle, conserve your Musou Rage for optimal impact. You'll face two Grand Tactics: eliminating two officers and defeating 250 soldiers. A weapon like twin pikes is recommended for efficient soldier clearing. Once Cao Cao's army is significantly weakened, defeating him should be relatively straightforward.
