Ubisoft Confirms More “Driver” Projects After Cancelation of Show AdaptationUbisoft has officially confirmed to Game File the cancellation of its live-action Driver TV series. Initially announced in 2021 for exclusive streaming on Binge.com, the project aimed to expand the Driver universe, as stated by Ubisoft Film & Television head Danielle Kreinik, who highlighted the company's goal of bringing games to life in innovative ways.

The collaboration ended due to the closure of Hotrod Tanner LLC, a movie-related subsidiary, in January. A Ubisoft spokesperson confirmed to Game File that the partnership with Binge for the Driver series is no longer proceeding.

However, Ubisoft assures fans that development continues on other exciting Driver projects. While specific details remain undisclosed, the company promises future announcements. Stay tuned for further updates on the Driver franchise!
