Troy Baker Voices Mystery-Solving Mouse in New Game

Today at Summer Game Fest, a brand new trailer gave us our first taste of acclaimed voice actor Troy Baker's latest character: a sleuthing rodent, the lead of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire.

In MOUSE, Baker portrays private eye Jack Pepper, a war hero turned detective who also happens to be a mouse. The tale kicks off when a classic femme fatale walks into his office with a case, but his investigation spirals into a web of murder, corruption, and intrigue across the sprawling city of Mouseburg.

MOUSE is a visually arresting 3D first-person shooter, defined by its vintage cartoon aesthetic reminiscent of Cuphead's retro flair. The game draws direct inspiration from 1930s film noir, perfectly capturing that era's moody style.

Baker is celebrated for his iconic roles in major titles like Joel in The Last of Us, Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, Sam Drake in Uncharted 4, and Higgs Monaghan in Death Stranding and its forthcoming sequel, Death Stranding 2.

MOUSE: P.I. for Hire is slated for a release this year on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC, developed by Fumi Games.
