Inferno Dragon Evolution Upgrade Arrives in Clash Royale After 9 Years

Clash Royale players can finally enjoy an enhanced Inferno Dragon after waiting nearly a decade for this fiery Legendary card to receive an Evolution. To celebrate this major update, Supercell partnered with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a creative reveal.

Hollywood Dreams Come Alive!

Watch as the Inferno Dragon takes center stage in a new Clash Royale trailer after nine years in the game. Ismo Leikola brilliantly portrays the dragon's eccentric talent agent, negotiating for stardom beyond the battlefield.

The fiery companion humorously abandons its combat duties to chase fame in Hollywood glamour.

Experience the Inferno Dragon's Hollywood ambitions and Leikola's hilarious negotiation tactics in this special presentation from Supercell.

The Evolution upgrade transforms the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness by maintaining its damage ramp-up when switching targets, unlike the original version that reset damage output.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Launches New Clash Royale Season

Titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", the new season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution and revives the popular 2v2 League mode for competitive team play.

Players can earn valuable rewards like Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics through Milestone Events starting at Arena 7.

Special Crown Chase events offer Battle Banners with decorative frames plus additional Evolution Shards as players progress.

Throughout June and early July, special game modes will showcase Evolution cards. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9) and subsequent Challenge (June 6-9) grant unique Battle Banners and Emotes.

Additional limited-time modes include Evolution Mayhem (9-16 June) allowing 4 Evolution cards per deck, Magical Trio (16-23 June), and the exciting Evolution Bonanza (30 June-7 July) featuring up to 8 Evolution cards per deck.
