The rumor mill for a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake is heating up, and now the Singaporean rating board has thrown more fuel on the fire by rating "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release. This exciting news suggests that the next installment in the beloved series, encompassing the third and fourth mainline games, is gearing up to hit a wide array of platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

While there's no official confirmation yet, a countdown timer spotted in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is teasing some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news on the horizon. The timer is set to expire on March 4, 2025, adding to the anticipation. Adding to the buzz, Tony Hawk himself revealed during an interview on Mythical Kitchen that he's been in talks with Activision about a new project. Hawk stated, "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate," hinting at a potential treat for the series' dedicated fanbase.

Following the widely acclaimed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020, a follow-up with games 3 and 4 seemed like a natural next step. However, after the successful release of the first two games, the original developer, Vicarious Visions, was absorbed into Blizzard in 2021 to focus on Blizzard projects. This left Activision in search of a new developer for the THPS series. Tony Hawk disclosed in a 2022 Twitch livestream that Activision had been considering other studios to take on the project, but none met their expectations as Vicarious Visions had.

The big question now is, if a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake is indeed in the works—and all signs point to yes—who is developing it? The Singaporean ratings board lists only Activision as the publisher and developer, leaving fans eager to learn more. With the countdown ending next week on March 4, we may soon have our answers.
