TMNT Joins Call of Duty: Exciting Crossover!

Activision has just announced an exciting crossover for the online shooters Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back the beloved heroes from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) series. This isn't the first time these iconic turtles have graced an Activision game, adding a fun twist to the gameplay experience.

While the developers have kept the details under wraps, promising only that the collaboration will happen "soon," the community at CODWarfareForum has been buzzing with unconfirmed leaks. Rumors suggest that players will have the chance to don skins of all four TMNT protagonists, although fans are disappointed that other beloved characters like April O'Neil, Master Splinter, and the villainous Shredder are not part of the speculated lineup. Additionally, new melee weapons inspired by TMNT are expected, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff, which could be used for close combat or as finishers. The main events of this crossover are rumored to take place on the Grind map, perfectly themed as a skatepark.

Despite the excitement around the TMNT collaboration, the fanbase's reaction has been lukewarm. This isn't due to a lack of love for the TMNT franchise but rather stems from ongoing issues with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The game is currently plagued by bugs and rampant cheating, leading to a significant decline in its online player base. Many feel that this collaboration comes at an inopportune time, amidst a crisis that has yet to be resolved. It remains to be seen how Activision will address these concerns and whether this crossover can reignite interest in the game.
