Author:Kristen Update:Mar 20,2025

Jason Sudeikis, star and producer of Ted Lasso, has officially confirmed that Season 4 is in development. The announcement, made during a conversation with Jason and Travis Kelce on their New Heights podcast, revealed that the beloved Apple TV+ series will return for at least one more season. A snippet from the podcast highlights the Kelce brothers pressing Sudeikis for an update following Season 3's conclusion in summer 2023. Sudeikis confirmed, "That’s what we’re writing. We’re writing Season 4 now… Ted’s coaching a women’s team.”

This is the first concrete update in nearly two years, offering much-needed reassurance to fans. While details remain scarce, including whether Season 4 will be the final season and the location, even Travis Kelce couldn't pry the location from Sudeikis, eliciting a laugh and the admission, "Yeah, that’s too many questions, and that’s only because I don’t know."

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that Juno Temple (Keeley) is in negotiations to return, joining Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie) who are already confirmed. Sources suggest filming for Episode 1 will likely begin in Kansas City before the action returns to the UK, with production aiming to start in July.

Apple TV+ is actively re-engaging fans. While a release date and plot details remain undisclosed, the show's official X/Twitter account recently returned with a humorous post acknowledging its unexpected hiatus.

Sorry y’all. What’d I miss?
