Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, unveiling the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This new quest, available from today until April 28th, challenges players to survive the treacherous Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert alongside Leela and Ozan.

Here's the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh's Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal has left the city vulnerable, causing internal strife and division among its people. As Amascut's sinister influence spreads, the dangers intensify beyond merely escaping the Shifting Tombs.

Fortunately, you won't be facing these challenges alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll be joined by new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos, striving to unravel Osman's true intentions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh's Folly comes with rewarding benefits. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela's Favour bracelet. This bracelet allows teleportation across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, this quest isn't for the faint-hearted or the unprepared. To embark on this adventure, you'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the "Beneath Scabaras' Sands" quest, and fulfillment of various objectives from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have constructed the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside Menaphos' gates and attempt to save the city from its perilous fate. If you're ready, download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and dive into "Return to the Desert!"
