In Week 2 of the Blast From the Past event, one quest requires studying a Historical Display at a museum. Veteran The Sims 4 players likely know their local museum’s location, but newcomers should check the map for a building marked with a pillar icon. The top choices are Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future’s Past in Oasis Springs, as they’re near other event tasks.

Steps to Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Event

Once at a museum, head inside to begin. In The Sims 4, both paintings and sculptures count as Historical Displays. Choose one that catches your eye, click it, and select “View” to study it. An Emit icon will confirm the task is complete.

Despite its simplicity, some players face issues with this quest. Mods are reportedly causing the “View” option to malfunction, halting progress. Some have tried removing all mods, but the problem persists. Hopefully, EA is addressing this, but for now, try studying multiple displays across different museums.
