April 9

⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the creators of Stellar Blade, have partnered with JND Studios to launch pre-orders for hyper-realistic 1/3 scale figures of characters EVE and Tachy. The Dual version, priced at $3,599, sold out in minutes, while the individual EVE figure, at $2,199, still has limited stock available. These figures are set to be released in the third quarter of 2026.

April 9

⚫︎ JND Studios is set to craft officially licensed, hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the eighth boss Tachy. This collaboration with Shift-Up was initially announced in July 2024, with the specific characters confirmed on April 8, 2025. Fans can look forward to these collectibles later this year.

February 12

⚫︎ During the recent State of Play, Shift Up announced that Stellar Blade will be available on PC starting June 2025. Alongside this, the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC is scheduled for the same month, bringing a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and a new outfit to the game.

⚫︎ Shift Up Studio started the year by rewarding each employee with a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective bonus of ¥1,000,000 (approximately $32,000). This generous gesture follows the successful launch of Stellar Blade on the PS5 in 2023, which received critical acclaim, robust sales, and multiple nominations at The Game Awards.

⚫︎ The PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards have been announced, with Stellar Blade's Eve winning in the Best New Character category. Eve competed against formidable characters like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Jane Harrow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Emmrich Volkarin, and Rise of the Rōnin's Ryoma Sakamoto. Other notable mentions included Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Strohl, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s Wuk Lamat, and Helldivers 2’s General Brasch.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade is set to celebrate the holiday season with an event in Xion starting December 17, 2024. The city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall will be adorned with festive lights, a Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations. New BGM tracks, "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take Me Away," will enhance the in-camp ambience, while a holiday-themed mini-game offers players a fun diversion and rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up has released a patch to address issues from the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. The free update, which introduced Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, was popular but led to crashes and missing costumes. The patch improves Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits, ensuring a smoother experience for players.

⚫︎ On November 11, 2024, Shift Up Studio's technical director Donki Lee shared two major updates for Stellar Blade. A free update (version 1.009.001) added four new outfits, one accessory, enhanced lip-sync support, and introduced a photo mode. Additionally, the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, was announced. This collaboration, directed by Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro, reflects the influence of Automata on Stellar Blade.

⚫︎ Despite high expectations, Stellar Blade did not make the final cut for Game of the Year at The Game Awards, sparking discussions on social media.
