Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Is Coming To Mobile This November!

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices! Console and mobile players can rejoice as the massive update launches on November 4th, 2024, following its March 2024 PC debut.

What's New in Stardew Valley 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands the Stardew Valley experience. Online multiplayer now supports up to eight players, doubling the previous limit for collaborative farming, fishing, and building. Two exciting fishing festivals—the Trout Derby and SquidFest—join the seasonal event roster, alongside the Desert Festival.

A brand-new Meadowlands farm layout provides ample space for livestock and convenient fishing opportunities. Over 100 additional NPC dialogues enrich interactions with the town's beloved characters.

Numerous new items enhance gameplay. These include a sizable Big Chest (nearly double the capacity of a standard chest), a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy-duty furnace, and a handy bait maker for targeted fishing.

Customization options abound with new furniture styles and over 25 stylish hats. Players can now collect prize tickets from quests and festivals, redeemable at a prize machine in Lewis's house.

After achieving maximum affection with your initial pet, you can now acquire multiple pets, each potentially bringing gifts, and even adorning them with hats! Expect to see NPCs sporting winter attire as well.

A golden Joja parrot assists in locating elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Reason for the Delay?

The delay in releasing the 1.6 update for mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC, ensuring a smoother launch and minimizing bugs. November marks the arrival of this expanded experience.
