Star Wars Outlaws Set for Nintendo Switch 2 Release

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Star Wars: Outlaws will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, although it won't be a launch title for the new console. Set to release on September 4, a few months after the Nintendo Switch 2's debut on June 5, this space adventure has already made its mark on PS5, Xbox, and PC.

Set between the iconic films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: Outlaws follows the journey of Kay Vess, a small-time criminal facing a death mark from a cartel. The announcement was made during a panel at Star Wars Celebration in Japan, where Ubisoft also unveiled the second story pack for Star Wars: Outlaws, titled A Pirate’s Fortune. In this expansion, Kay Vess allies with Hondo Ohnaka to confront Stinger Tash, the leader of the Rokana Raiders. Star Wars: Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune is slated for release on May 15, adding more excitement to the game's universe.
