Star Wars Meets Monopoly Go

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 31,2026

The mobile gaming phenomenon Monopoly Go is partnering with Star Wars, infusing a dose of sci-fi into its property-trading, dice-rolling action. Announced at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan, this collaboration will run from May 1 through July 2, drawing inspiration from the Skywalker Saga and The Mandalorian.

Beyond giving iconic Star Wars characters a charming cartoon style, the Monopoly Go Star Wars season introduces a new sticker album to complete, podracing in the Mos Espa Grand Arena, and collectible in-game items including tokens, shields, and emojis. Players will also witness the amusing crossover of characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, and Qui-Gon Jinn mingling with Mr. Monopoly, also known as Rich Uncle Pennybags.

This isn't the first major crossover for Monopoly Go; last September, Marvel characters were featured, with Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Avengers all making appearances.

Publisher Scopely also recently expanded its portfolio by acquiring the teams behind Pokémon GO, Pikmin Bloom, and Monster Hunter Now as part of a deal with Niantic.
