Stalker 2: Acquire the Unique Cavalier Rifle Guide

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, weapon variety is key, allowing players to tailor their arsenal to their preferred playstyle. Among the standard weapons, you'll find unique variants with special modifications or enhanced power. One such standout is the Cavalier, a sniper rifle equipped with a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium ranges. Here's how you can secure this exceptional weapon.

How to Obtain the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To acquire the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Military Unit near the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. The rifle is located inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously visited the Duga base to access the Journalist's stash, navigating to this spot should be straightforward via the second entrance.

Entering the Warehouse Near the Military Unit at Duga Base

Once inside the Duga base, make your way to the Military Unit building, which is marked on your map. You won't need to enter the building itself; instead, circle around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Be on high alert here, as two Pseudogiants patrol the area and will attack on sight. Carefully approach the greenhouse to avoid confrontation with these formidable mutants.

Upon entering the greenhouse, you'll find yourself inside the warehouse. Immediately, you'll be swarmed by rats that will begin to drain your health. To escape the onslaught, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. From there, you can safely throw a grenade to eliminate the rat swarm.

Shooting the Wooden Boards to Retrieve the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, look up towards the warehouse ceiling above the entrance connecting to the greenhouse. You'll spot wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to drop down.

Once you've secured the Cavalier, safely exit the Duga base. To enhance its already impressive damage and accuracy, take it to Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades and modifications. The Cavalier is ideal for players who prefer a red-dot sight over a traditional scope, making it perfect for close to medium-range engagements.
