"Speed Demons 2 PC Release Announced"

Radiangames has unveiled Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer that echoes the thrilling, high-speed gameplay reminiscent of the iconic arcade racing series, Burnout. Originally a mobile game, this sequel is now being developed for PC and is slated for release later this year.

The developer describes the game's unique control system, stating, "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players that, "It sounds unusual, but it's immediately intuitive once you start playing."

Modes like Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage evoke the spirit of Burnout's Road Rage, tasking players with demolishing other cars within a set time limit. Another mode, Scratchless, mirrors Burnout's Burning Lap, challenging players to reach the finish line with minimal damage to their vehicle.
