Sonic Games Gearing Up for Updates Preceding Film Release

Sega announces exciting mobile game updates to coincide with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Several Sonic mobile titles are receiving fresh content inspired by the upcoming film, including Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash.

First up, on December 12th, Sonic Forces gets a new Metro-city Zone. This update features three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Completing these levels before seeing the movie is highly recommended!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team adds Shadow as a playable character with new abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift. Unlock him by completing Tails’ Challenges. Additional new powers (Quick Grind, Perfect Boost) and exclusive upgrades (Double Chaos Shift) enhance gameplay for all characters. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are also included, along with a revised tutorial.

Lastly, Sonic Dash's update arrives on December 20th, allowing players to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer extra rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive Shadow-themed updates in January.
