Let Me Solo Her Names Toughest Bloodborne Boss

A mere glance at the formidable presence of one of Elden Ring's most celebrated players, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to humble even the mightiest Tarnished. Yet, this legend faced a daunting challenge against one of FromSoftware's most notorious adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.

Let Me Solo Her first rose to prominence in the Elden Ring community in April 2022, embodying the role of a loincloth-clad, jar-headed savior. His mission was to assist countless players struggling against the game's most infamous optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella. By his own estimation, he has since invested over 1,200 hours into the game, facing Malenia thousands of times. His dedication earned him legendary status within the Elden Ring community, culminating in FromSoftware sending him an actual sword as a token of recognition for his contributions.

In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience of transitioning to a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, which allowed him to finally dive into the fan-favorite Bloodborne. Despite his extensive experience with FromSoftware titles, he encountered significant challenges with some of Bloodborne's most notorious boss encounters.

After adjusting to the game's 30 frames per second (fps) compared to Elden Ring's smoother 60 fps, and navigating the heavy atmosphere, Let Me Solo Her recounted his journey through Bloodborne, including its DLC. He described his encounter with the Orphan of Kos, stating, "Finally, I met the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game that has a DLC always has that final boss where they feel so overwhelmingly powerful." He compared this to other iconic final bosses like Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss in Dark Souls 1. "This boss took me more tries than any previous boss fights, and even had me exploring Chalice Dungeons to farm Blood Vials and bullets off stream, just to replenish them," he added, acknowledging the Orphan of Kos as the toughest boss he faced in Bloodborne (thanks, GamesRadar+).
