How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Once you step into the expansive open world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a personal bed should be at the top of your list. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, you'll have the option to follow either the blacksmith or the miller's storyline. Whichever path you choose, Radovan or Kreyzl will offer you a bed to rest in.

In my playthrough, I opted for Radovan due to his proximity in Tachov, which is conveniently close to your initial starting point. To get your bed, head to Tachov, engage in Radovan's questline, and upon completing the smithing tutorial, you'll be granted access to a room next to the forge for sleeping.

The bed in the room next to the forge in TachovThe bed in this room will become your designated bed on the world map, and you'll also find an inventory chest for storing your gear. Whenever you need to recover your health, return to this spot to sleep.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be instances when you're unable to reach your bed in time. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with numerous campsites along roadsides and within forests. Some may be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before you can rest, while others might be vacant.

Upon discovering a campsite, it will be marked on your map, allowing you to interact with the bedrolls for sleep. Keep in mind, though, that the comfort level at campsites won't match that of a proper bed, but it will suffice in a pinch.

In dire situations, you might consider sleeping in NPCs' beds. However, be warned: if caught, you'll need to talk your way out of trouble, or they may report you to the guards.

That's the rundown on how to sleep in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more insights and tips on the game, including how to use a torch and which perks to prioritize, be sure to visit The Escapist.
