A Quarter-Century of Simming: Events and Freebies

Players are in for a treat with a plethora of in-game rewards, a star-studded livestream showcasing top Simmers, and the triumphant return of The Sims and The Sims 2 to PC.

Kevin Gibson, The Sims Production Director, expressed gratitude to the dedicated players who have supported the franchise for 25 years, stating that the game's success is a testament to their unwavering enthusiasm. This anniversary celebration is a heartfelt thank you to the entire Simming community.

The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 Make a Comeback!

The biggest news? The Sims and The Sims 2, including all their DLC, are back! Available now on Steam and the EA store, either as a Birthday Bundle or individually, these classic titles are now optimized for modern PCs, fulfilling a long-held wish of many Simmers. This marks the first time in nearly a decade that these games have been readily accessible for purchase.

In-Game Celebrations for Sims 4 and Sims FreePlay

The Sims 4 features the "Blast From The Past" event, introducing iconic items from earlier games. Over four weeks, new nostalgic additions will be released, including neon furniture, a three-layer cake, and a light-up dance floor.

The Sims FreePlay also joins the celebration with a Birthday Update, featuring new Live Events ("The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island"), a velour tracksuit, daily gifts, and a museum showcasing the history of The Sims.
