"Shroodle Acquisition Guide for Pokemon GO Players"

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 11,2025

The new year has been bustling with excitement for *Pokemon GO* players, bringing in fresh faces like Fidough and now, the eagerly awaited Shroodle. This Poison-type Pokemon isn't just going to pop up in the wild; it's coming to the game in a more unique way.

When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?

The Toxic Mouse Pokemon, Shroodle, makes its grand entrance into *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, as a highlight of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle adds a fresh twist to the ever-expanding Pokemon universe. Post-event, trainers will still have the opportunity to add this Pokemon to their collection.

Can Shroodle Be Shiny?

At its initial release, Shroodle won't be available in its Shiny form in *Pokemon GO*. Fans eager to catch the Shiny version will have to wait for a future event, possibly one themed around Poison-type Pokemon or Team GO Rocket.

In the evolving world of *Pokemon GO*, new Pokemon like Shroodle aren't just found roaming freely. Instead, trainers will need to hatch Shroodle from 12KM eggs. From January 15 onwards, any 12KM egg you collect after 12 AM local time could hatch into Shroodle. It's expected to be more frequently found during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but will remain part of the 12KM egg pool moving forward.

How To Get 12K Eggs

Since Shroodle can only be obtained through 12K eggs, it's helpful to know how to get these in *Pokemon GO*. These eggs are among the rarest and can only be obtained by defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader or Giovanni. The Taken Over event is a prime time to collect these eggs, with Team GO Rocket appearing more frequently and Rocket Radars easier to obtain. You can challenge GO Rocket Grunts anytime to face off against Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff, securing a 12K egg if you have the inventory space.

How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also joins *Pokemon GO* on January 15. Unlike Shroodle, Grafaiai doesn't hatch from eggs or appear in the wild. To get one, you'll need to evolve a Shroodle, which requires 50 Shroodle Candies. This means hatching multiple Shroodle or making it your buddy to accumulate enough candies for the evolution.

*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
