S8UL to Represent India at Pokémon Unite WCS Finals After Qualifiers

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 17,2025

The esports world is buzzing with excitement as S8UL has secured their spot to represent India at the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS) after triumphing in their local Qualifiers. This achievement is particularly gratifying for S8UL, who faced a setback at the Pokémon Unite Asia Champions League, where they were eliminated early and did not advance to the ACL competition. Now, they are gearing up to compete in the WCS Finals in the USA this August.

The journey through the India Qualifiers was nothing short of dramatic for S8UL. After losing their opening match, they were forced to battle their way through the lower bracket, making their path to victory even more challenging. However, they ultimately dominated teams like Team Dynamis, QML, and familiar rivals Revenant XSpark to claim their spot in the WCS.

Championship PerformanceThis success is not entirely new for S8UL, as they were also set to represent India at the 2024 WCS. Unfortunately, they were unable to participate due to visa issues that prevented them from attending the event in Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still posing challenges, this remains a concern for the team. However, they are hopeful to overcome these obstacles and make a significant impact at the WCS 2025 finals this summer.
