Star Wars Celebration has unveiled our first glimpse of Rory McCann stepping into the role of Baylan Skoll for Season 2 of Ahsoka, following the untimely passing of Ray Stevenson. McCann, known for his role in Game of Thrones, takes over the mantle of Baylan, a character that Stevenson brought to life with remarkable depth and intensity.

While we're yet to see McCann's performance, the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration provided an exclusive first-look image, which you can view below.

Ray Stevenson, celebrated for his roles in Thor, RRR, Punisher: War Zone, Rome, and more, tragically passed away due to a brief illness just three months before Ahsoka's premiere. His portrayal of Baylan Skoll became a highlight of the series, leaving a lasting impact on fans and the show's narrative.

Ahsoka series creator Dave Filoni spoke candidly about the challenge of moving forward without Stevenson, describing him as "the most beautiful person on screen and off." The team also shared exciting updates for Season 2, confirming the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, along with fan-favorite characters such as Admiral Ackbar, Zeb, and Chopper.
