Reverse Surprises: 1.8 Update Unveils Banners and Festivities

Reverse: 1999's Version 1.8 update, "Farewell, Rayashiki," arrives August 15th, 2024! Prepare for new characters, storylines, and more, launching just days away. Read on for all the details!

Bidding Farewell to Rayashiki

The main event, "Farewell, Rayashiki," begins August 15th and runs until September 16th, introducing fresh story content. Hard mode unlocks on August 22nd, rewarding players with Clear Drops and Cornerstones. Complete the first chapter by August 15th to receive the Gift of the Stars, containing 600 Clear Drops and 5 Picrasma Candy.

New Adventures and Freebies Await in Version 1.8

Version 1.8 offers more than just a new story. "Journey to North," a two-part event, provides seven free Unilogs. Part one runs from August 15th to 29th, and part two from August 29th to September 19th.

New Characters and Banner Events

Two new Arcanists join the fray: Vila and Windsong.

• Vila: A 6-star Plant Afflatus Arcanist, Vila is a powerful support character offering healing, status purification, and significant damage buffs. Her banner, "Ode to the Utopia," runs from August 15th to 29th, featuring boosted drop rates for Vila and 5-star Avgust.

• Windsong: A 6-star Star Afflatus Arcanist, Windsong's banner, "The Intersecting Lines," is live from August 29th to September 19th. Increased drop rates also apply to 5-star Sweetheart (Beast Afflatus) and 5-star Blonney (Star Afflatus).

• Rerun Banner: The "Yearning of the Water" banner returns from September 1st to 14th, featuring 6-star Shamane and 6-star Spathodea.
