Following its closed beta, Rainbow Six Siege X is slated for a full release in June 2025 on PC and consoles. Ubisoft calls this update the game's most significant content overhaul yet. The closed beta introduced Dual Front, a new 6v6 game mode.

Dual Front offers a larger-scale, more chaotic experience than existing modes. Larger maps demand strategic coordination between teammates, requiring attacks and defenses across multiple objective areas. Siege X also promises revamped maps, a redesigned user interface, enhanced visuals, and a rebalanced matchmaking system designed to improve the experience for new players.

It also teases overall game refinements, including visual improvements and new features, along with rewards for existing players and free-to-play access for newcomers.

The Rainbow Six Siege X closed beta ran from March 13th to March 19th, initially accessible to select Twitch partners. Viewers of these streams had a chance to earn beta access codes. Linking your Twitch and Ubisoft Connect accounts is required to redeem codes. Notably, prior ownership of Rainbow Six Siege wasn't necessary for beta participation.

Ubisoft provided complete details about the closed beta and access on their website. Currently, there are no plans for further beta testing, including an open beta.
