Following a tradition among popular esports game developers, Ubisoft made a significant announcement just before the Rainbow Six Siege world championship grand finals. Given the game's decade-long run, expectations were high – and they were met!

Ubisoft unveiled Siege X, a substantial enhancement to Rainbow Six Siege. This isn't simply a sequel, nor is it a minor update. It's comparable to the relationship between Counter-Strike 2 and Global Offensive: a major overhaul that feels like a new game while preserving player progress and data.

A dedicated three-hour presentation on March 13th in Atlanta, featuring a live audience, will reveal further details. To commemorate ten years of Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft also launched a celebratory pack offering legendary skins from the game's earliest seasons – a comprehensive collection of classic cosmetics.
