Exciting news for fans of the Girls’ Frontline franchise: Project NET, an eagerly anticipated third-person shooter spinoff, has now opened its pre-registration phase alongside the Shock Point Test Recruitment. Project NET Pre-Registration Now Open

The developers of the upcoming mobile game, Project NET, have announced the opening of pre-registration via their official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account on March 3, 2025. To join the ranks of eager players, simply visit Project NET’s official SEA website and click on the "Pre-Register" button. You’ll need to enter your email address and select your preferred platform, either iOS or Android. Additionally, the game's Russian (RU) website is also welcoming pre-registrations.

SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment for Philippines Only

In addition to pre-registration, Project NET is inviting players to participate in a beta test known as the "Shock Point Test." Announced on the game’s official SEA Twitter (X) account on March 4, 2025, this test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. It's a limited-access, non-monetized test, with all data being wiped post-test. The Shock Point Test will also be rolled out in Russia, with further details available on the RU website. The developers are actively working to optimize the game for a global launch across other regions and countries.

The schedule for the SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration is as follows:

  • Registration for the Shock Point Test closes on March 23, 2025.
  • Confirmation emails will be sent to qualified participants between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025.
  • Test qualifications will continue to be distributed throughout the testing period, which is yet to be announced.

Project NET First Announced in December 2024

Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

Sunborn Network, the masterminds behind the acclaimed mobile game Girls’ Frontline, unveiled Project NET on December 27, 2024. This new third-person shooter for mobile devices conducted its initial localized test in several SEA countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025.

The Girls’ Frontline franchise, which first launched in 2016 as a strategy RPG gacha game for mobile, has since expanded into an anime series and additional games. Its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, was released on December 5, 2024. As Project NET is rooted in this series, fans can look forward to seeing familiar characters and design elements.

While there are no official announcements yet regarding a release date for Project NET, the game is set to be available on both iOS and Android, following the platforms used during its initial test phase.
