The most profitable gacha games of January 2025 have been named

Gacha game enthusiasts are always eager to see the latest financial reports, and January 2025's numbers are in!

Last month saw a major update for Genshin Impact, featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner. This update proved incredibly successful for miHoYo (HoYoverse), resulting in a remarkable doubling of revenue to $99.4 million, compared to $45.6 million in December 2024.

Pokémon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue, followed closely by the popular "female gacha" title, Love and Deepspace, which generated $55.2 million.

Honkai: Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reaching $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant decrease, with revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.

It's important to note that these rankings consider only mobile platform revenues. While some titles, such as miHoYo's games, also have PC versions, those earnings are not included in this data. Furthermore, the data for Android in China is estimated using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the region, due to the absence of Google Play in that market.
