Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Host Cities Revealed

Pokemon GO Fest 2025: Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris

Pokemon GO Fest 2025 is heading to Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris! Past events have shown ticket prices vary by location, with minor fluctuations year to year. However, recent price increases for Community Day tickets have fans concerned about potential GO Fest cost hikes.

Despite a slight decline in overall popularity since its launch, Pokemon GO maintains a dedicated global fanbase. The annual Pokemon GO Fest, typically held across three cities with a subsequent global event, remains a major draw, offering unique Pokemon spawns, including region-exclusive and previously unavailable Shiny forms. While attendance is a highlight for many, the global event provides similar benefits for those unable to travel.

The 2025 Fest will kick off in Osaka, Japan (May 29 - June 1), followed by Jersey City, New Jersey (June 6-8), and concluding in Paris, France (June 13-15). Specific event details, including pricing and featured Pokemon, are yet to be announced. Niantic promises further information closer to the event dates.

2024's Pokemon GO Fest: A Potential Indicator for 2025?

The pricing of past GO Fest tickets offers some insight. In 2023 and 2024, the Japanese event cost approximately ¥3500-¥3600. European prices saw a decrease, from roughly $40 USD in 2023 to $33 in 2024. US pricing remained consistent at $30, while the global event cost $14.99 in both years. Regional pricing appears to be a significant factor.

While Niantic has unveiled exciting new in-game events, a recent price increase for Community Day tickets (from $1 to $2 USD) has sparked player discontent. This could foreshadow potential price adjustments for GO Fest. Given the negative community reaction to this relatively small increase, Niantic will likely proceed cautiously, particularly considering the dedication of players who travel for the in-person events.
