Pokémon Vending Machines: A Guide for Trainers

Pokémon fans are buzzing about the Pokémon vending machines popping up across the US! These aren't your average snack dispensers; they're stocked with Pokémon TCG goodies. This guide answers your burning questions.

What are Pokémon Vending Machines?

These automated machines offer a convenient way to purchase Pokémon merchandise, primarily Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) products. While not as budget-friendly as a soda, the experience is undeniably fun. The current US models, initially trialled in Washington in 2017, feature touchscreens, offering a user-friendly browsing and purchasing experience complete with charming Pokémon animations. Payment is via credit card, and a digital receipt is emailed to the customer. Note: returns are not accepted.

What do they sell?

Primarily, these vending machines dispense Pokémon TCG products like Elite Trainer Boxes and Booster Packs. While some earlier machines in Washington stocked a wider variety of merchandise, the current trend focuses on TCG items. Don't expect plushies or apparel here.
