"Pokemon GO Announces Upcoming Gigantamax Debut at Future Event"

Summary

  • Gigantamax Kingler debuts in Pokemon GO on February 1 for the Max Battle Day event.
  • Players can use Max Mushrooms to boost damage in battles.
  • Event bonuses include increased Max Particle collection, Power Spot battles, and XP rewards.

Pokemon GO enthusiasts have a thrilling event to look forward to: the debut of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1. Since the introduction of Dynamax and Gigantamax forms last year, Niantic has been steadily expanding the roster of these unique variants within the game.

Gigantamax is a special form of Dynamax that not only amplifies a Pokemon's size and strength but also alters its appearance and bestows it with exclusive G-Max Moves. While the main series features 32 Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, Pokemon GO currently hosts six, with Gigantamax Lapras being the latest addition. This number is set to grow with the upcoming event.
