All Pokémon Unite Ranks, Explained

*Pokémon Unite* boasts six distinct ranks, each segmented into multiple classes to facilitate gradual progression. As you advance, you'll notice that higher ranks contain more classes. Progress through these ranks is solely dependent on performance in ranked matches, not quick or standard games. Let's explore the ranks:

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Starting Out

Your journey begins at the Beginner Rank, which includes three classes. To participate in ranked matches, you must reach Trainer Level 6, achieve a Fair Play score of 80, and own at least five Pokémon licenses. Once these criteria are met, you can jump into the ranked match mode and start climbing from the Beginner Rank.

Performance Points

In *Pokémon Unite*, your performance in ranked matches directly impacts your rank through Performance Points. You can earn between 5-15 points based on your score, 10 points for good sportsmanship, 10 points just for participating, and an additional 10-50 points for maintaining a winning streak. Each rank has a cap on Performance Points; once you reach this cap, you earn 1 Diamond Point per match, which is crucial for advancing. Here are the caps for each rank:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Advancement Rewards

Diamond Points are your ticket to advancing through classes and ranks. You need four Diamond Points to upgrade your class. Once you max out at the highest class within your current rank, you automatically advance to the first class of the next rank. Winning a ranked match grants you one Diamond Point, while losing one costs you a point. Additionally, once your Performance Point meter is full for your rank, you continue to earn one Diamond Point per match.

At the end of each season, *Pokémon Unite* rewards players with Aeos Tickets based on their rank, with higher ranks yielding more tickets. These tickets are essential for purchasing items and upgrades in the Aeos Emporium. Some ranks also offer unique seasonal rewards, adding an extra layer of incentive to climb the ranks.

With this knowledge in hand, you're well-equipped to tackle ranked matches, ascend through the ranks, and claim the best rewards in *Pokémon Unite*. Good luck on your journey to dominance!
