Pokémon Presents Event Coming Next Week

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 18,2025

Get ready, Pokémon trainers! The Pokémon Company has announced a Pokémon Presents event next week, celebrating Pokémon Day with exciting franchise updates.

The event is scheduled for February 27th, 2025, and will be streamed live on the official Pokémon YouTube channel at 6 AM Pacific Time / 9 AM Eastern Time / 2 PM UK time. While the exact content remains a mystery, anticipation is high among fans.

Many hope for news on the next mainline Pokémon game, which is currently unannounced. While the spin-off title, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for release in 2025, the next core generation of Pokémon games remains a closely guarded secret.

The Pokémon Presents event will likely include updates on other popular titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. We can also expect news on the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and revealed the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, among other exciting announcements. Interestingly, 2024 marked a departure from previous years with only one Pokémon Presents event and the first year since 2015 without a new mainline Pokémon game release. This year's event promises to be even bigger!
