Pokémon Go Adds Yamper in Paw Prints Event

This June, Pokémon Go is set to go full throttle. As the Delightful Days season arrives, Yamper, the vibrant Electric-type Pokémon from the Galar region, is making its long-awaited debut during the Yamper’s Paw Prints event. The event runs from June 20th to 22nd, giving you the chance to evolve Yamper into the loyal Boltund with 50 Yamper Candy.

During the Yamper Paw Prints event in Pokémon Go, the wild encounters will feel like a puppy parade. Expect to encounter more Growlithe, Snubbull, Houndour, Poochyena, Electrike, Lillipup, Furfrou, and Fidough in your local area.

If you’re fortunate, you might even spot a Hisuian Growlithe or the star of the event, Yamper itself. For the shiny hunters, this event increases the chances of finding Shiny versions of Snubbull, Poochyena, and Furfrou.

Each day of the event includes themed Timed Research, offering extra Stardust and XP, along with additional encounters. On June 20th, Poochyena takes center stage, while Furfrou is the focus on the 21st. Then, on June 22nd, Snubbull gets its moment to shine (literally). Make sure to complete each day’s tasks before midnight, as they will expire at the end of the day.

There’s also a premium research track available for $0.99, which unlocks additional tasks and rewards such as four Incense, extra Stardust, and bonus encounters with Snubbull, Poochyena, Rockruff, and Yamper.
