PlayStation State of Play Feb 2025: All Announcements

The latest State of Play event has thrilled PlayStation fans with an impressive lineup of upcoming games for the PS5. Notable announcements included the long-awaited Borderlands 4, set to launch on September 23, 2025, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, slated for August 28, 2025, with exciting new gameplay and a confirmed release date. Fans were also treated to a remastered version of Days Gone, which will hit the shelves on April 25, 2025, featuring enhanced gameplay and new modes.

The event was packed with surprises, such as the reveal of Tides of Annihilation, a narrative-driven action game set in a transformed London, and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, bringing back the classic franchise with a vengeance on August 29, 2025. Additionally, the Dynasty Warriors spin-off, Warriors: Abyss, launched immediately following the event, offering a roguelite experience on both PS5 and PS4.

From Leslie Benzies' MindsEye, set for a summer 2025 release, to the action-adventure game Darwin's Paradox, where players take on the role of an octopus, the event showcased a diverse range of gaming experiences. The stop-motion first-person action-adventure game, The Midnight Walk, is set to captivate players on May 8, 2025, on both PS5 and PS VR2.
