Jumping into The Getaway is easy. Launch Fortnite, head to the Lobby, and select "Discover." Find The Getaway and hit "Play" to join the queue. Alternatively, use the search bar in the top-left corner of the Lobby and type "The Getaway."

What Is The Getaway?

The Getaway is a high-stakes heist! Teams race to locate a jewel, then escape with it in a Getaway Van. It's pure PvP action—fight other teams to secure the jewel and be among the first three to escape for victory. Alternatively, eliminate opposing teams to claim the win. This time around, enjoy The Getaway in Zero Build mode (perfect for those who prefer less building) and across various team sizes: Duos, Squads, Unranked, and Ranked.

The Getaway Start and End Dates

The Getaway is currently live in Fortnite, but it's a limited-time event. The mode will vanish on April 1st at 12:00 AM Eastern Time. Don't miss out! Earn valuable XP towards your Battle Pass progression while it lasts.
