Larian Studios recently shared a gripping 52-second cinematic preview on Twitter (X), offering a sneak peek at one of the new evil endings set to be introduced in Patch 7 of Baldur’s Gate 3. The clip centers on The Dark Urge and hints at the dark outcomes of a fully evil playthrough.

The preview reveals the grim fate awaiting The Dark Urge’s companions as they witness their leader succumb to their father’s will, taking control of the Netherbrain. This harrowing scene sets the stage for a reign of terror under Bhaal, with the companions tragically becoming its first victims.

The Dark Urge exerts mind-control over their companions, compelling them to meet a tragic end by falling to their deaths. The chilling narration accompanying the scene declares, "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before The Dark Urge meets a similar fate.

This is just one of the many evil endings set to be introduced in Patch 7. In a community update from last April, Larian promised fans "improved evil endings to the game for even darker conclusions to your most sinister playthroughs." Excitingly, these endings will be accessible even if you're not playing as The Dark Urge.

Previously teased endings included The Dark Urge walking on a sea of blood and corpses, and another where an entire town falls into "sheer mindless bliss" under the influence of The True Absolute.
