How to Get Dark Fragments in Palworld

To gather Dark Fragments in Palworld, you must hunt down Dark-element Pals on the island of Feybreak. Note that Dark Pals found on other islands will not drop this material, as Dark Fragments are exclusive to the Feybreak region. While the coastal and gravel areas of the island are populated mainly by Ground and Water-type Pals, you'll need to venture inland to find their Dark-type counterparts. Certain Pals, like Starryon, only appear at night unless you encounter a boss variant.

Whether you capture or defeat these Pals with your chosen weapon and Pal Sphere (Ultimate or Exotic Spheres are recommended), they typically yield an average of 1 to 3 Dark Fragments. As with other material-dropping Pals, Dark Fragments are not a guaranteed reward from every encounter.
